Trump says North Korea's recent missile launches not a breach of trust

The remark came a day after the DPRK fired two unidentified projectiles, presumed to be short-range missiles, from its northwestern region.
The South Korean military saw the projectiles fired by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Thursday as short-range missiles, Newsis news agency reported Friday citing a defense ministry official.
Saturday's launch of a short-range missile from another east coast area was the North's first test of a ballistic missile since it launched an intercontinental ballistic missile in November 2017. North Korea also ridiculed South Korea for criticizing those launches.
This is happening amid delays in the diplomatic process between North Korea and the United States and the efforts to reduce the North Korean nuclear capacity.
Introducing his private conversation with Kim during their Panmunjom summit in April a year ago, Moon said the North's leader expressed his commitment to denuclearization "very frankly".
"But I don't think North Korea's latest series of projectile launches are violations of inter-Korean military agreements, because they occurred outside of the zone" where the two Koreas agreed not to conduct any military maneuvers.
