A Dutch wonderkid, rumoured to be wanted by FC Barcelona, Juventus and Liverpool, has reportedly snubbed an offer worth £60 million (R1.1 billion) to join Premier League giants Manchester United.

According to an exclusive report covered by The Daily Star, Man Utd were willing to agree a deal worth £65million (£250,000-a-week, five year deal) to sign the Dutch global.

Signing a new centre-back remains a priority and, as well as De Ligt, they have been linked with the likes of Napoli star Kalidou Koulibaly and Bayern Munich's Niklas Sule. "He can sign for any side he wants but he doesn't have any interest in signing for Manchester United".

250,000 pounds per week was the offer placed on De Ligt's table who is not prioritising money over proper development now.

The Catalans have now received a major boost in the race to sign de Ligt, who has rejected Manchester United's advances despite the fact that he has a £250,000-a-week deal on his table.
