Arabsat needs SpaceX to send its Arabsat-6A communications satellite into Earth orbit, and SpaceX wants to make good on its promise that the Falcon Heavy can fulfill a commercial need.

SpaceX has pulled off an incredible feat, successfully recovering all three of Falcon Heavy's Block 5 boosters shortly after the rocket's commercial launch debut. In the 2018 test mission, Heavy's core booster missed the vessel and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean.

And smooth it was: All three of the Falcon's rockets guided themselves home once they'd served their goal.

SpaceX aims to land two of the first-stage boosters back at Cape Canaveral, just like it did for the rocket's debut previous year. As usual, the live stream will include commentary from SpaceX staff, along with details about the mission and status of the spacecraft.

Nearby beaches and other prime viewing spots were packed with tourists and locals eager to catch not just the launch but the rare and dramatic return of twin boosters, accompanied by sonic booms. It has three rocket boosters, which are strapped together during launch and are created to then break apart and make pinpoint landings back on Earth.

Last year, SpaceX was able to land two of the Falcon Heavy's boosters, with the third one crashing into the ocean at 300 miles per hour.

NASA offered swift congratulations.

Musk used his own Tesla convertible in last year's demo and the red Roadster - with a mannequin, dubbed Starman, likely still at the wheel - remains in a solar orbit stretching just past Mars.

In Falcon Heavy's first launch, in February 2018, a dummy dubbed Starman was placed behind the wheel of Musk's roadster, which is now orbiting the Sun somewhere between Earth and Mars. The boosters for that flight may be recycled from this one. The company selected Falcon Heavy in September for a mission anticipated in late 2017 or 2018.

NASA's Saturn V rockets, used for the Apollo moon shots, are the all-time launch leaders so far in size and might.

It consists of the equivalent of three Falcon 9 rockets combined, tripling its thrust.

The rocket is expected to be used primarily for United States military missions, and to launch spy satellites and hefty commercial telecom satellites. The Falcon Heavy is essentially three of those single rockets strapped together.
