  • Sikma, Divac, Moncrief headline Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2019

Moncrief was a two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year and, in recent years, many have lamented his lack of inclusion in the Basketball Hall of Fame.

Vlade Divac will get inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2019 via the International Committee for his achievements in both the NBA and in FIBA.

Westphal only missed four games over his first run with the Suns over the five seasons and would return to the Valley in the 1983-84 season for his final year in the league.

- Jack Sikma: The 6-11 center was a seven-time NBA All-Star with the Seattle Supersonics (15.6 points, 9.8 rebounds per game) and helped the team to the NBA title in 1979.

The 68-year-old is a five-time All-Star and played the best basketball of his career in Phoenix, averaging 20 points per game in all five of his seasons with the Suns from 1976-80.

The Class of 2019 will be enshrined in the Hall of Fame on September 6.

Saudi authorities were also "applying secrecy in the trial process" and ignoring global standards of justice, he said. Khashoggi's children have disagreed on how to protect their father's legacy, according sources close to the family.

In today's edition of Milwaukee Bucks Daily, Jack Sikma is named to this year's Hall of Fame class alongside teammate Sidney Moncrief, the Bucks' pursuit of 60 wins waits another day following their loss to the Brooklyn Nets Saturday evening, and much more. He made five All-Star teams and was chosen five times to the All-NBA squad. A two-time All-American at Louisiana Tech, Weatherspoon was also a six-time Italian League All-Star and two-time champion in the Russian League before the WNBA was launched.

Moncrief, who played alongside Sikma with the Bucks from 1986-89, also reached the Final Four in his final season at Arkansas, where he was coached by Eddie Sutton. He returned in 1983 for what became his final National Basketball Association season as a player. He was a seventh-round pick of the Philadelphia Warriors in 1960 and played his first two seasons for the Warriors in Philadelphia before they moved to the San Francisco area. He averaged 25.2 points and 5.5 assists per game, and finished sixth in the NBA MVP balloting.

Westphal, 68, was a five-time NBA All-Star and four-time All-NBA player as a guard, mostly with the Phoenix Suns. He coached the Warriors for 14 season after he retired in 1971, including the 1974-1975 championship-winning season.

To be elected, North American and Women's Committee finalists must receive 18 of 24 votes from the Honors Committee for election into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. He was a member of the 76ers' championship squad in 1983.

Two teams will also be honored: the Tennessee A&I (now Tennessee State) men's teams from 1957 to 1959 - the first college sides to win three consecutive championships - and the Wayland Baptist Flying Queens, which won 131 straight games from 1953 to 1958.
