  • The release date for Microsoft’s disc-less Xbox One S just leaked

Disc-less Xbox leaks continue to arrive as the console nears launch. This looks to be a good leak as the report also shows a leaked box for the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition. ID@Xbox is an initiative from Microsoft and the Xbox team that allows developers of various sizes to self-publish their games on the Xbox One or Windows 10 platforms.

As has previously been reported, the All-Digital Xbox One S will have the lowest MSRP of any current Xbox console.

This is rumoured to be up to $100 cheaper than the Xbox One S, which now has an RRP of £249.99 in the UK.

Code-named Xbox "Maverick", Windows Central has been sharing lots of information about when the new console might be landing - as well as what it could look like.

Some of the product images of the Xbox One S All-Digital that Windows Central received which showed off the console's box art also revealed storage and game bundle details pertaining to the device. However, it may not seem the case, as Microsoft's next-gen Xbox entries, codenamed "Anaconda" and "Lockhart", don't seem to have any disc-less support, but we'll only find out for sure in due time. For those who do not know it yet, it is the version without an optical reader of the "entry-level" console in the lineup proposed by Microsoft. Windows Central states that date will likely be May 7.

Windows Central suggests the new console will be revealed in April.

How much will the Xbox One S All-Digital cost? However, to sweeten the deal Microsoft is thought to be including a 1TB hard drive and bundling three digital games with the machine, which are Forza Horizon 3, Sea of Thieves, and Minecraft. Instead of posting those images, they've recreated them in Photoshop to protect the origins of the photos.
