MILEY Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are officially married!

According to the BBC, the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony with friends and family.

Miley and Liam met almost a decade ago on the sets of their film "The Last Song", and became engaged in 2012 but then broke it off the following year and separated.

Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson may have been a musical duo for "Nothing Breaks Like a Heart", but now the famous producer is serenading his songwriting partner after news of her surprise wedding to Liam Hemsworth broke Wednesday.

The couple first started dating when they starred opposite each other in Nicholas Sparks' 2010 drama, "The Last Song".

She has also confirmed that she'll appear in the brand new Black Mirror film headed to Netflix called Bandersnatch while Hemsworth can next be seen in Isn't It Romantic, the new rom-com starring recently married Priyanka Chopra and Rebel Wilson.

"Miley tagged the producer in the post, and the short clip featured Liam filming his wife in her wedding dress as she lip-synced and danced to the track, before he turned the camera and joined in".

The couple have been dating on and off for ten years, first announcing their engagement in 2012 - but they chose to split a year later.

The wedding - which took place on Sunday, 23 December 2018 - was said to be a small ceremony.

"Congratulations you two", he says at the video's close.

Another picture had the couple dressed in traditional white and a tux, respectively in front of a white cake and cupcakes, with the singer's mother, Tish in the frame.

It comes after the couple lost their Malibu home in the California wildfires last month.
