  • Game of Thrones Season 8 Teaser Has a Battle of Ice and Fire

As the final season of HBO's hit fantasy epic Game of Thrones approaches, the team behind the show recently released a minute long trailer detailing the clash between ice and fire. It's a tease of a battle brewing between Dany, the North, the Lannisters, and the Night King we expect to occur next season. In the process, it first engulfs a wolf (referring to the northern Starks) and swiftly moves in to take in its fold a dragon (perhaps one of Daenerys Targaryen's three dragons, Viserion).

The teaser captioned "Fire and Ice", shows frost descending over Westeros, symbolizing the slow march of the White Walkers south beyond the Wall.

The networking giant also released a video clip, however, it only featured footage from the last seasons of the show.

It shows a dragon and direwolf become overtaken by ice while a lion gets consumed by fire.

HBO unveiled the trailer at the São Paulo's Comic Con today and it's enough to get fans ready for winter to come around more than ever.

Game of Thrones Season 8 Teaser Has a Battle of Ice and Fire

There's clearly a lot to look forward to for the eighth season that arrives April 2019.

Game of Thrones will return with six episodes from April 2019. Every time a Game of Thrones season comes, the trailer comes before 3 months.

David Benioff and D.B. Weiss returned to executive produce the final season alongside Carolyn Strauss, Frank Doelger and Bernadette Caulfield, with Bryan Cogman, Guymon Casady, Vince Gerardis and George R.R. Martin serving as co-executive producers.

In this teaser, it is quite interesting to see a dragon freeze over as they are usually the representation of fire.
