Police seek couple who lost engagement ring in Times Square

02 December, 2018, 22:25 | Author: Trevor Moore

The man was captured on CCTV getting on one knee and proposing to his girlfriend in Times Square.

But at about 10:30 Saturday morning, the NYPD Emergency Service Unit recovered the ring.

Comments by netizens have been largely positive, with many saying this is what they love about NY, and others praising the city's police force.

The NYPD commissioner James O'Neill has also gotten involved, urging users on the social media site to "do your thing".

Naval standoff: Vladimir Putin blames Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko
Tensions have loomed between Ukraine and Russian Federation after the crisis over the weekend in the Black Sea and Sea of Azov. He said Trump is "not going away". "I was thinking about it, but they'd like to have it", Trump said.

Video of the incident uploaded to the NYPD Twitter account show the aftermath of the proposal. On Sunday, the NYPD said after finding the couple, "We're making arrangements to get them their ring back".

But that's not quite what's happening in a video released by the New York Police Department. The (now) happy couple is back in their home country, but thanks to your retweets they heard we were looking for them! "Our @NYPDSpecialops officers rescued it & would like to return it to the happy couple".

An engagement ring recovered by the NYPD below a Times Square utility grate.

Their proposal went wrong when he dropped the ring down a utility grate - but the NYPD found it and is trying to track them down.
