  • Theresa May danced her way on stage at the Conservative Party conference

British Prime Minister Theresa May arrived on stage at the Conservative Party conference to the strains of ABBA's "Dancing Queen", taking a spin around and having a brief laugh at her own expense before a key speech.

The latest example of this comes courtesy of the UK's Prime Minister Theresa May.

Her speech was aimed at providing an upbeat vision for Britain post-Brexit - and after eight years of austerity.

"I've been up all night supergluing the backdrop", joked May, referring to last year's keynote speech in which she was plagued by a cough, a prankster and signage falling from the wall behind her.

Republican Sen. Jeff Flake blasts Trump's 'appalling' digs at Kavanaugh 'victim'
"'I don't know.' 'But I had one beer, that's the only thing I remember, '" the president said in a mocking tone. On Twitter, Michael Bromwich, a lawyer for Ford , called Trump's remarks "a vicious, vile and soulless attack".

Due to her somewhat stiff dance moves, many compared the prime minister to a robot.

She appealed for unity in her party, warning her critics that if they split over their "own visions of the flawless Brexit", they might not get it at all.

Clips of the her "dad dancing" have already been the subject of a number of memes, while some users labelled the clip "cringeworthy". Although it left few Abba song lovers sad as they complained the song has been "ruined" for them as they believe it can not be "unseen".
