Apple may replace Plus branding with Max on 6.5-inch iPhone Xs

Apple is said to be cutting costs by using an LCD display as usual with a 6.1-inch size, a notch this time, and a basic full HD resolution. According to 9to5Mac, which brought us the first "official" render of the smartphone along with the iPhone Xs naming, says that the 6.5-inch OLED device will be called the iPhone Xs Max. However, it turns out that might not be the case after all. The concurrence is that the two premium OLED display-equipped iPhone XS and XS Plus will be joined by a more affordable LCD iPhone. the latter could generally be named the iPhone 8S, iPhone 9, iPhone X Plus or iPhone SE 2.

"Apple's coming iPhone lineup is likely to maximize the available screen real estate within form factors that will still fit in trousers pockets, which suggests we have reached a limit of screen size as an incremental driver of demand". Unfortunately, this feature is not going to be available on this 2018 iPhone.

That name is quite the mouthful, and we're not quite sure what would lead Apple to call its larger phone "Max" instead of "Plus".

Apple will be holding its event on September 12.

At the same time, the company should be able to provide reasonably strong product differentiation for the iPhone X models, which could cater to users looking for better displays and camera technology.

Spain's Enrique imposes new rules, including cellphone ban
I have no doubts about the XI playing tomorrow, but I have been surprised - for the better - by things that I have seen. Ramos recently caught headlines after a certain interaction during the Champions League draw.

Where: The event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater, the underground auditorium on Apple's Cupertino campus. There will be three iPhones Apple confirmed for 2019 dubbed as iPhone 9 (to be confirmed), iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max. The new Apple Watch models are also expected to come with advanced heart rate tracking and other health related improvements.

Although, together with them, can be shown new models of the Apple Watch, upgrade headphone AirPods and other novelties. This would represent a new color variant, as the iPhone X was only made available in silver and grey finishing.

And, apparently, it will be the most popular iPhone next year, meant to replace the best sellers in recent years - the iPhone 5s and its successor the iPhone SE.

When it comes to individual models, the iPhone X is the leader of the pack, losing only 32% of its value since release. The Indian prices are likely to be higher than the European or U.S. prices, and the depreciating rupee could make them even steeper.

iPhone XS - 5.8-inch, OLED model.
