White House Apologizes for ‘Mistake’ on Black Employment Numbers Under Obama

  • Trump calls former aide Omarosa a ‘dog’

The approach appears to be backfiring.

Brian Kilmeade likened it to when Trump last fell for that strategy, back when former flatterer Michael Wolff was plugging his salacious White House intrigue book Fire And Fury: Inside the Trump White House. The former staff members have found a wide range of rehabilitation within Trump's orbit: his re-election campaign, the Republican National Committee, and outside groups that support both him and Vice President Mike Pence.

President Donald Trump unloaded on former aide Omarosa Manigault Newman, calling her a "crazed, crying lowlife" and "that dog", as a clash rooted in the reality star's accusations of racism focused new attention on his frequent disparagement of prominent African-Americans.

While Kelly says her infractions would have gotten her court-martialed in the military, "if we make this a friendly departure ... you can look at your time here in the White House as a year of service to the nation and then you can go on without any type of difficulty in the future, relative to your reputation". She alleges tapes exist-and she has heard one-of him using the N-word racial epithet.

That turned out not to be an issue, because Omarosa was reportedly already involved with the the actor Michael Clarke Duncan, who died in 2012.

Until that day comes, Omarosa believes Melania is using her outfit choices as a way to take subtle swipes at her husband and has referenced the infamous 'I don't really care, do u?' jacket she wore to visit detained immigrant children separated from their parents. She said Sunday that she had listened to one after the book closed.

US PGA Championship: Scott buoyed by Bellerive play
He outlasted good friend Dustin Johnson at Shinnecock Hills to become the first back-to-back U.S. He just stood behind me and was like, yup, that's flawless .

"I'm in [Omarosa's] book on page 149", Lutz tweeted.

Watters said, "I think she said she got the years wrong".

But Trump, by constantly bringing up Omarosa, elevated these allegations from mere rumors to topics of national conversation, and that hasn't gone very well for him. "Omarosa fabricated the story by conflating numerous discussions".

During her briefing Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said that she "couldn't guarantee" that a tape of President Trump using the word would never become public.

Even reliable pro-Trumper Geraldo Rivera chided the president for that tweet. "And the oxygen comes from the clicks, the likes, the shock, the discussions", she said, using the reaction against Trump's attack on basketball star LeBron James as a flawless example.

NPR reported on Tuesday that Trump filed a complaint accusing Omarosa of violating the agreement, meaning this could now play out over a lengthy arbitration process, resurfacing again and again. This is Sanders being questioned by NBC News's Kristen Welker. "I just want them to know that everything that you see in Unhinged, that's quoted, can be verified as documented and corroborated." she said. "I'm surprised we don't see that a lot more in corporate America".
