Tape of Trump discussing hush money for alleged affair released

About two months before Election Day in 2016, Donald Trump and his former lawyer (and self-described "fixer") Michael Cohen were chatting about how to convince a former Playboy model, Karen McDougal, to keep quiet about what she described as a long-term affair with the presidential candidate.
Collins was the pool reporter, meaning she represented all of the networks during a brief photo opportunity in the Oval Office.
With the release of Michael Cohen's secret recording of Donald Trump, a huge mucky rock was overturned.
Mr Giuliani told Associated Press news agency that he had had the tape enhanced and it clearly shows the president saying "don't pay with cash". Collins told CNN's Brian Stelter they said the questions she asked were "inappropriate for that venue", and that she had been shouting.
"I need to open up a company for the transfer of all that info regarding our friend David", Cohen says.
The recording of Cuomo was among them, the Journalreported, adding Cohen recorded his conversations with multiple reporters. "The other objective here was to keep the story from being put in the press by lying to her and telling her, "We'll pay you $150,000, you don't talk to anybody else and we'll publish your story" - when they never meant to publish it".
Trump responded to the release of the tape by trying to undermine Cohen's professionalism. Trump seems to say, "Pay with cash", but Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani released a transcript in which he alleges Trump says: "Don't pay with cash".
This could be a reference to Mr Trump's friend, David Pecker, president of American Media Inc, the National Enquirer's parent company.
The tape becomes hard to understand at that point.
In the conversation with Mr. Cuomo, Mr. Cohen discusses the $130,000 paid to Ms. Daniels, the porn actress whose real name is Stephanie Clifford and who claimed to have had an affair a decade ago with the future president. "When Mr. Giuliani ... accused my client, Mr. Cohen, of saying the word 'cash, ' I said, 'Wait for the tapes'". Trump himself is heard on several of the tapes, but only in small doses, according to the Post.
Mr Trump says later: "So, what do we got to pay for this?"
But Trump doesn't act surprised by the conversation, which contradicts his campaign's insistence that he knew nothing about the Karen McDougal business.
The conversation took place after The Journal in January revealed that Cohen had arranged the payment to Daniels.
Fox News judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano, a former judge, told Fox News on Wednesday that a tape of President Donald Trump talking about paying hush money to a former Playboy model appears to be like evidence of a crime.
