A search of the Walmart website Tuesday showed no "Impeach 45" apparel available for sale online.

USA retailer Walmart Inc (WMT.N) faced an outcry from supporters of President Donald Trump on Tuesday for listing for sale on its open marketplace clothing with the slogan "Impeach 45", an apparent reference to Trump, the country's 45th president.

Can we get Shaq to purchase a few of those shirts for Auntie Maxine Waters who chanted "Impeach 45!" to a crowd over the weekend.

Walmart has caught the ire of Trump supporters online for selling some very anti-Trump apparel.

The call for a Walmart boycott seemingly picked up steam as conservative media outlets spread the word about the shirts.

LeBron James To Leave Cleveland For The Los Angeles Lakers
James already owns two mansions in Brentwood, Los Angeles and has investments in numerous businesses in the city. ESPN's Dave McMenamin reported earlier this morning that LBJ spoke with general manager Koby Altman at 12:01 am.

These items are usually sold through Walmart Marketplace, which hosts third-party sellers.

Walmart said in a statement that it is reviewing its marketplace policies.

The T-shirts weren't being sold by Walmart itself, but by third-party sellers including Old Glory and Teespring Inc.

Walmart has caused outrage over its apparel before.

In all of those cases, Walmart removed the products after consumer complaints, rather than screening them beforehand. We have reached out to Walmart for comment, and will update this story with any reply. By Tuesday afternoon the items appear to have been taken down from the Walmart site. In November 2017, the company stopped selling a shirt that read "Rope". Third-party sellers on the website also offer a slew of other politicized products, including "IMPEACH OBAMA" and "IMPEACH NIXON" license plates.
